We are looking for a multi-skilled Security Systems Field Engineer to join our growing team of security professionals. This is a dual-role position combining installation, commissioning, servicing, and emergency response for a wide range of electronic security systems across residential and commercial properties. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality security solutions, ensuring optimal system functionality, and providing excellent customer support.

What can you bring to Banham?

Previous experience in an alarm installs and service of fire / intruder alarms and CCTV products is essential for this position as well as:

  • Proficiency in servicing, installing, maintaining, and repairing intruder alarm systems.
  • Have some knowledge of broader electronic security systems: CCTV, entry and access control systems and fire alarms.
  • Experience in the wider product range would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Role requirements

  • Previous experience working as an security installations engineer.
  • Basic IT knowledge, e.g. software installation into Windows Operating Systems, IP based systems and networking principles.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • Must have a flexible attitude towards working hours and changing working requirements
  • Pass an enhanced DBS to facilitate working in Schools and sites that support vulnerable people.
