Role: Information Governance Administrative Assistant

Hours: 37 hrs/week, full year

Location: Hybrid

Reports to: Information Governance Lead

Purpose:

Provide administrative support to ensure Trust-wide compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain records of data breaches, SARs, and FOI requests.

Act as first contact for SAR queries and provide guidance.

Support and process SARs/FOIs, including data collation.

Provide templates and advice to schools on compliance processes.

Monitor deadlines and escalate risks.

Keep records of data systems and processors up to date.

Maintain intranet guidance, templates, and training records.

Support and deliver training on data protection and cybersecurity.

Analyse trends to identify risks and training needs.

Communicate regulatory updates to staff.

Assist with reports for leadership.

Undertake other duties as required.
