Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for a Compliance Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation and contribute to the ongoing development of its compliance framework. The role will focus on supporting and enhancing the Safety Management System, ensuring alignment with regulatory and ISO standards, and promoting best practice across quality, health & safety, and information security.

The Role

Working as part of the wider compliance team, you will support both day-to-day operations and longer-term initiatives to ensure quality management systems, audit processes, and change controls are effectively implemented and maintained in line with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

* Quality & Safety Systems: Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electronic quality and safety management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

* Training & Awareness: Support the development and delivery of training to promote understanding of quality, health & safety, and compliance requirements.

* Change Management & Document Control: Help manage change control processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant.

* Internal Audits: Coordinate and support internal audit activities, ensuring schedules are met and actions are followed through to completion.

* ISO Compliance & Reporting: Prepare documentation and analyse data for management reviews in line with ISO standards, supporting continuous improvement.

* Records Management: Maintain organised and compliant document and archive systems in line with company and regulatory requirements.

* Business Continuity: Assist in maintaining business continuity plans and support emergency response procedures when required.

* Risk Assessments: Support the completion and documentation of risk assessments relating to OHSE and information security.

* Inductions & HSE Training: Assist with employee inductions and deliver training aligned with health, safety, and environmental policies.

* Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including drafting internal communications such as memos and safety updates.

* Travel: Occasional travel may be required to support audits, inspections, and training.

Essential Requirements

* Proven experience working with quality management systems, internal audits, and ISO standards.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

* Experience in a compliance-led or regulated environment.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.

This position would suit a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement, who is committed to maintaining high standards across the organisation.
