Are you an experienced 3rd Line or Senior Cloud Engineer looking for a role where you'll have real influence, not just another queue of tickets?

We're partnering with a well-established, growing MSP that is looking to add a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to its close-knit technical team. This is a senior, varied position offering exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies, infrastructure, networking, security and client-facing project work - with genuine scope to shape how the technical team operates.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers and act as a key escalation point, supporting a diverse client base while leading on projects, improving service delivery, and mentoring less experienced members of the team.

The Role

As a senior member of a small technical team, you'll be involved in:

• Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 environments
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, networking and security issues
• Managing and maintaining virtualisation platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud-based services
• Acting as the senior escalation point for technical incidents
• Leading on firewall, connectivity and endpoint management activities
• Owning project delivery, upgrades and system improvements - on time and on budget
• Acting as a dedicated technical point of contact for key clients
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation
• Building strong relationships with clients and providing a high level of service

About You

We're open to different backgrounds, but you'll ideally have experience with:

• 3rd line support within an MSP, service desk or IT support environment
• Microsoft 365, Windows Server, cloud technologies and virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs and firewalls (FortiGate preferred)
• Entra ID, Conditional Access, SharePoint and Intune
• Project management or client management experience, with a track record of delivering on time and budget
• Supporting and troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Working independently and taking ownership of tasks and projects

Experience with MDM platforms, Power BI or automation tools would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
