2nd Line Systems Engineer

***CANDIDATES MUST HAVE MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER (MSP) EXPERIENCE ***

Hybrid working following successful completion of 3 month induction.

We are seeking a proactive2nd LineSystems Engineer to join our clients Service Delivery Team, delivering top-tier IT support both remotely and on client sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to technical requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Resolve 2nd line and NOC support tickets promptly.
  • Provide on-site client support and maintain clear ticket documentation.
  • Identify recurring IT issues and implement permanent solutions.
  • Develop technical guides, mentor 1st Line Analysts, and liaise with partners/vendors.
  • Stay updated on technology and cyber-security developments; pursue relevant certifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years IT support experience, in an MSP environment.
  • Experience working on a busy service desk.
  • Strong customer service and client-facing skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, virtualization, networking, backup/DR solutions, and cyber-security technologies.
  • Competent with Windows, macOS, and mobile device support.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • UK driving license required.
