An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a well-established, family-run business – located in Northampton.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits:

Competitive basic salary circa £38,000, depending on experience.

No weekend work, with occasional overtime available on Saturday mornings.
Opportunity to work with a reputable family-run business known for its supportive work environment.Duties include but are not limited to:

Conducting Servicing & Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
MOT Testing
Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies.Requirements:

Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 Qualification, or equivalent is preferred.
Dedicated and committed approach.
Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician, within a Workshop environment.
Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
You should have your own tools.
Full UK Driving LicenceThe salary of this role is up to £38,000 basic, with a departmental bonus scheme.

Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday (08:00:17:30).
