PIB Risk Management have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Product Manager within the Head Office based in Retford, for our online health, safety and risk management platform that can reduce third party organisations complexity and cost of managing health and safety.
xCenta is an exiting software platform integrating with third party organisations and covers area from Risk Assessment, Incidence Reporting, e-Learning, Staff management, Task & Diary Organisation to Audit & Inspections.

Responsibilities of the Technical Product Manager:

To maintain the smooth running of the xCenta System on a day-to-day basis from a technical perspective
To ensure systems and procedures are maintained and to contribute to the development of new products, systems and procedures.
Lead the maintenance and development of the xCenta system, and coordinate with the development team
Be the technical link between the xCenta team and the development team
Duties and responsibilities

Work alongside internal Central Services teams including, but not limited to, Cloud Systems, Information Security, Group Development, to ensure the smooth, effective and compliant running of the xCenta system.
Work alongside internal PIB RM teams in developing Product Roadmap / Business Case supporting documentation
Take responsibility for managing the delivery of the xCenta Product Roadmap and Technical Debt resolution.
Take responsibility for the identification of threats / opportunities presented to the xCenta platform from changes in technology and other factors
Carry out the business analysis process for internal / external projects and changes, including the process mapping, needs analysis, solution identification and scoping, testing and delivery.
Carry out development work to support in achieving the aims of the xCenta business.
Carry out the provision of technical support for the xCenta platforms to both internal and external stakeholders.
Undertake special projects as designated by senior colleagues
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in relation to xCenta systems user experience
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Deliver training for the xCenta platforms to both internal and external stakeholders by various mediums e.g. face to face training or virtual.
In accordance with established procedures, utilise the ticketing system to log and track client tickets.
Ensure all client interaction emails are filed in accordance with PIB RM procedures.
Ensure relevant responsible person is notified of system updates which would impact on client use or functionality so xCenta user manuals can be updated in good time
Downloading, maintenance, collation, and production of statistical data where appropriate.
Work closely with the xCenta Operational and Support Manager to ensure smooth and efficient onboarding and offboarding of clients.
Thoroughly test new xCenta functionality prior to development sprint updates using appropriate testing scripts.
Use appropriate tools for tracking technical debt and managing priorities
Ensure the xCenta technical documentation (code playbook) is kept up to date
Oversee the daily technical operations of the xCenta system to ensure uninterrupted functionality and liaise with the Group Cloud Team
Monitor system performance and address any technical issues promptly
Serve as the primary technical link between the xCenta team and the development team.
Experience & Attributes we are looking for:

Experience in software development and frameworks including .net and c#
Experience technical systems design
Experience in Agile sprint process
A proven ability to learn new systems and processes.
The ideal candidate must have:

Excellent IT skills
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of Power BI
Knowledge in software repository management
