Teacher of IT & Computer Science

Academics Ltd are currently working in partnership with a well-respected secondary school in Canterbury, Kent, to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of IT and Computer Science for a full-time position starting in September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking school that values digital literacy and innovation in education, with a supportive staff culture and modern facilities.

About the Role:

Deliver high-quality lessons in IT and Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience)
Develop pupils' skills in coding, digital literacy, cybersecurity and computing theory
Contribute to curriculum planning and the integration of technology across the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification
Strong subject knowledge in IT and Computer Science
A passion for digital education and innovation
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
