We have a great opportunity for an IT Solutions/Bid Specialist who can maximize our clients' win rate for contracts and provide support solutions to our bid team, which needs to produce creative, efficient, and compelling tender bids.
This role will focus on designing IT solutions that provide confidence to potential clients, demonstrating our clear understanding and ability to meet and exceed their requirements. These solutions will need to demonstrate that we have correctly understood the division of responsibility for system provision, can achieve smooth integration of client systems with our clients' systems where appropriate, and demonstrate industry-leading practices around data protection and cyber security.
Location – Hybrid (UK-based with willingness to travel as required)
The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced IT professional with proven experience in complex multi-agency implementation
  • For emerging tender opportunities, be able to quickly develop a clear and detailed understanding of client requirements
  • Be able to understand the likely competition, including SWOT analysis, to be able to contribute to defining the win strategy
  • Be able to devise solutions that meet and exceed client requirements, including in areas such as (but not limited to) IT architecture, system integration, data protection and cybersecurity
  • Have the ability to quickly develop a good understanding of systems currently in use and how these can be improved
  • Have an excellent understanding of cybersecurity risks, opportunities and best practices
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departmental boundaries
  • ·Have the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, especially approaching deadlines
  • ·Have presentational skills to concisely summarise and articulate complex solutions
