As Site Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Successful delivery of the Structured Cabling and Fibre Infrastructure project ensuring that installation and operational commitments are met and exceeded.

  • Manage the effective delivery of team outputs, in accordance with project targets, quality standards, and service levels.

  • Control and efficiently manage labour, partner subcontractors and contractor project delivery team. Close supervision, management and monitoring of sub-contractors whilst working on your project to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Enforce, maintain and monitor project Health and Safety

    Reinforce and monitor onsite discipline, taking the appropriate action if and when required

  • Regular and accurate reporting, including controlling, monitoring and successfully delivering against project programmes, RAG reports, SHEQ audits, procurement call off schedules and forecasts.

  • Value Engineering of Project to improve the project services and profitability as required

  • Deliver to agreed scope and quality to achieve targets within agreed timescale and cost constraints.

  • Work within & ensure compliance with most up to date accreditations, quality systems and manufacturers guidelines

  • Continuous management of the project programme and resources to ensure mitigation of delays or changes

  • Ensure that positive relationships are maintained with the customer through efficient delivery of project with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability.

  • Develop and grow client relationship with focus on customer retention, satisfaction and quality of works.

  • Adhering to compliance requirements for Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Information Security and Data Protection relevant to your job, function and location.

    Qualifications

    For development purposes the following knowledge, skills and experience are required.

  • Demonstrable and previous large scale, time critical, construction structured cabling and fibre infrastructure Site Manager installation experience required.

  • Customer focused with experience of building meaningful relationships that support customer retention

  • Ability to work under pressure, effective prioritisation to meet multiple deadlines

  • Strong organisational skills both personally and at a team level

  • Collaborative team player, with a passion for sharing and best practice to drive customer satisfaction

  • Ability to effectively work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.

  • Dynamic, Proactive and flexible

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as the role requires the ability to liaise multiple levels of authority internally and externally

  • Influencing skills including negotiating and people management

  • Leadership experience with internal team and partner / 3rd party subcontractors

  • PC literate, proficient Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project and any other electronic business management tools required to fulfil your role.
