We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the Group Reputational and Sustainability Risk team in the role of Senior Manager, Reputational Risk Strategy and Policy.

 

The Group Reputational and Sustainability Risk team supports the Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in the provision of risk expertise across strategy, framework, policy, advisory, oversight, reporting and engagement for reputational and sustainability risks. The risk management challenges and opportunities presented by HSBC’s reputational and sustainability agenda are evolving and increasing in scope and scale.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Actively maintain and develop the Reputational Risk Policy, providing advice, guidance and training as appropriate.
  • Help embed the Reputational Risk Framework and Target Operating Model.
  • Report on top and emerging reputational risks.

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Keen interest and proven experience in reputational, geopolitical, social and environmental risk management.
  • Strong research, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgement and prioritise, including under pressure.
  • Able to engage and influence a range of stakeholders in a multinational organisation.
  • Enjoy acting with initiative and a significant degree of autonomy.
  • Demonstrable experience of public affairs, reputation management, risk management or compliance.

 

The base location for this role is London with a requirement to be in the office at least three times a week.
