Salary up to £130,000k
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & DevSecOps engineer to join our innovative clients team based in London. This role is pivotal in laying the roadmap, design and implementation of the infrastructure for a globally distributed team, ensuring seamless operations across multiple projects and time zones using a follow-the-sun methodology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-agnostic approaches, working with Python, LLMs, and data models to drive impactful, scalable solutions that can run both on-premises and in the cloud without vendor lock-in.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud-Agnostic Approach: Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure and solutions that are not tied to a single cloud provider, ensuring flexibility and portability across multiple platforms.
Global Collaboration: Manage a team working across multiple regions to provide 24/7 support and continuity in operations, leveraging a follow-the-sun methodology.
Multi-Project Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple DevOps and DevSecOps projects concurrently, balancing priorities and resources to deliver timely results.
Build, Leadership and Team Development: Build,Mentor and guide team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth within the team.
Python and LLM Expertise: Apply your experience working with Python and large language models (LLMs) to develop, deploy, and optimize data-driven models and processes.
Design for On-Premises and Cloud Flexibility: Ensure solutions are designed to run on-premises, avoiding serverless applications that bind the team to specific cloud providers. Focus on building flexible, vendor-neutral infrastructure that supports diverse deployment scenarios.
Experience:
Proven experience in a leadership role within DevOps and DevSecOps teams - This role is pivotal in laying the roadmap, design and implementation of the infrastructure for a globally distributed team, ensuring seamless operations across multiple projects and time zones using a follow-the-sun methodology
Strong expertise in cloud-agnostic infrastructure design and deployment.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and projects on a global scale.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi- project environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation tools.
Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Experience designing and implementing on-premises solutions that are scalable and adaptable.
