Oliver James is mandated by their global consulting client to assist in hiring a Senior Manager within their Cyber Security Operations, specializing in Cyber Security Architecture. The role can be based in London, Manchester, Bristol, or Edinburgh on a hybrid basis, with a salary up to approximately £120,000 plus a wider package.

Role Responsibilities

  • Decide the best course of action to detect, investigate, and respond to threats.
  • Develop and establish processes, governance, and ways of working to enable the delivery of the target operating model and service catalogue.
  • Support research activities to maintain cutting-edge cybersecurity practices.
  • Work with Engineers & Threat Hunters to analyze data from dashboards for strategic planning and continuous improvement.
  • Lead migration and implementation strategies and plans.

Candidate Requirements

Successful candidates should demonstrate capabilities in:

  • Solution design and development.
  • Experience with Architecture Frameworks, ideally TOGAF.
  • Strong understanding of Security Operations within or alongside Security Operations Centres.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Delivery team management, overseeing teams of 5-15 across various locations and cultures.
  • Client stakeholder management with strong communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders from CISO to Developers.
