Senior Cloud Security Consultant

You will have hands-on experience with a variety of technologies in cloud security and a keen interest in emerging security technologies. You will be excited to join a growing team of consultants focused on helping our customers achieve their goals with modern leading-edge technologies in a cloud-first world.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be working across a variety of clients in a range of industries, whilst also working collaboratively with different teams across Bridewell. Your focus will be on supporting our customers on a range of Microsoft technologies; from reviewing, optimizing, and auditing existing deployments through to designing and implementing large new deployments.

Specific tasks may include:

  • Helping to evaluate, recommend and implement cutting-edge security technologies for clients within the cloud.
  • Supporting and designing deployments of endpoint, email and identity protection technologies (XDR) for a cloud-focused environment.
  • Designing and deploying identity and access management solutions for cloud identity providers.
  • Supporting and designing deployments of cloud SIEM/SOAR technologies in enterprise environments.
  • Assessing and reviewing customer cloud security posture across multiple solutions and technologies.
  • Creating and maintaining technical project documentation such as technical configuration documents or low-level designs.
  • Liaising with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment of security strategies with business goals.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to customer technical teams and technical decision makers.
  • Supporting the wider team in Bridewell, including our Managed Security Services team with customer-facing and internal tasks.

What skills you'll have:

You need to have all the following:

  • Experience with Azure and Microsoft cloud services.
  • Experience with one or more Microsoft Security products from the following list:
  • Microsoft 365 Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps)
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Microsoft Entra (Identity, Identity Protection, Identity Governance, Internet Access, Private Access)
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • Microsoft Copilot for Security
  • Microsoft Intune
  • A passion for problem-solving, collaborative team working, and an excitement for creating innovative solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities at any given time.

It would be nice if you had any of the following:

  • Experience with any cloud security product equivalent to one from the above list.
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Centre.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing presentations to technical senior stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of AWS and/or GCP.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or BASH.
  • Knowledge of industry standards; such as CIS Benchmarks or the MITRE framework.
  • An innate ability to simplify complex topics into natural human language and create understanding for non-technical teams.
