Job Description

Are you an innovative senior civil or structural engineer or consultant who is capable of agile, lateral thinking and enjoys applying and developing technical leadership and engineering management skills to deliver exciting projects? Do you aspire to thrive in a niche industry utilising your experience in delivery ownership of structural design and assessment, finite element analysis, technical report writing and reviewing, as well as your soft skills in client engagement and engineering management?

Are you chartered with a recognised civil or structural engineering institution (IStructE, ICE or other) in your current job or have a similar level of capability to this, but want to invigorate your career and bolster your portfolio with exciting new projects within a buoyant industry? If so, we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for fulltime senior civil and structural engineers to join our growing team in Epsom, to support a wide range of new build nuclear projects including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs and future fusion reactor technologies. You will enjoy cultivating strong working relationships and reinforcing your technical skills and applying your management expertise to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Your experience in any of the following would be beneficial to the role but not all are required to apply:

  • You have a relevant level of professional experience which could be derived from civil-structural design and analysis (steelwork and reinforced concrete), research and development, project engineering or design consultancy.
  • You can coordinate across multidisciplinary projects.
  • You can lead, undertake, and review design of new building structures, and take responsibility for project ownership.
  • You have worked in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, power or rail.
  • You can work collaboratively from our offices and across our client sites to understand clients' needs and deliver to time, cost and quality.
  • You can write bids and tenders to win work.
  • You can manage, lead and mentor staff.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
