Working within Nuclear and Power, Power New Build group, you will be an integral part of delivering exciting large nuclear new build projects such as Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, and a variety of other major upcoming prospects.

Your purpose:

  • Work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary client delivery team.
  • Deliver quality assignments to the highest professional standards, with integrity and pride.
  • Engage with clients openly and with confidence, always representing our corporate values.
  • Apply your Engineering and Quality Management expertise for clients and our business alike.
  • Create high standard client deliverables such as reports, presentations, and workshops.
  • Applying continuous improvement methodology to achieve sustainable change for our business.
  • Help us to win more work by identifying opportunities and communicating effectively with our business leads.
  • Contribute to the client and business forums and support our ambitions for growth in our key markets.


What you can bring:

In addition to having excellent technical, organisational and communication skills, you'll also be able to demonstrate the following key skills:

  • Breadth of experience directly related to either Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Supply Chain Quality, or similar.
  • Good working knowledge of ISO standards with demonstrable experience in applying continuous improvement methodology to identify risks and manage opportunities and to achieve sustainable change.
  • Capability to positively influence others and build mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships.
  • A questioning attitude and ability to provide constructive challenges both internally and with clients.
  • A collaborative and can-do approach with readiness to embrace new challenges.
  • Willing and able to travel to AtkinsRéalis offices, client offices, and client sites, whilst being open to secondment opportunities with clients.


You may also demonstrate a selection of the following desirable requirements:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in a related engineering-based discipline (e.g.nuclear/civil/industrial/mechanical/electrical/process/instrumentation/chemical).
  • Direct, relevant nuclear sector experience.
  • Interpreting engineering specifications and technical documentation.
  • Experience of site-based operations, construction or commissioning.
  • Knowledge of safety on construction sites, including risk assessment techniques.
  • Working towards or achieved Chartered Quality Professional status.
