SEN Teaching Assistant – Sutton
Location: Sutton, London
Pay Rate: £85 – £96 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term

Are you a caring and dedicated individual passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Sutton.

Responsibilities:



  • Support children with a variety of SEN needs in one-to-one or small group settings.


  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.


  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.


  • Help create a safe and nurturing learning environment.


  • Provide ongoing support to meet individual students’ needs.


Requirements:



  • Experience working with children with SEN in schools or similar settings.


  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.


  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.


  • DBS clearance (or willing to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
