Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivatedInformation Security Operations Managerto lead the Security Operations Team. You will oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring they are effectively securing systems and responding to security incidents. This role offers an exciting opportunity to guide, mentor, and develop team members while playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our security operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and prioritise the activities of the Information Security Operations team.
  • Define, document, and maintain operational processes.
  • Ensure the effective support and maintenance of security systems used by the team.
  • Run vulnerability management and penetration testing programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the scope and capability of the Security Operations function.
  • Set and measure KPIs for the team’s performance.
  • Equip the team with the tools and knowledge to identify and investigate security incidents.
  • Stay updated on the latest threats, security technologies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage relationships with security service partners.


About You:


You have a strong technical background and are experienced in managing security operations. You are proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are also skilled at building and developing high-performing teams.


What We Are Looking For:


  • Proven leadership experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, networks, and security methods.
  • Familiarity with network security concepts and common security vulnerabilities.
  • Deep understanding of security tools, knowledge sources, and the security community.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Experience in coaching and developing team members.


Nice to Have:


  • Experience with MSSP management.
  • 5+ years of experience in an information security role.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP or similar).
  • Experience with enterprise-scale security tools and services.
  • Knowledge of public cloud security best practices.
