Role OverviewAbout the RoleAs a Security Manager, you will be responsible for safeguarding Whistl’s operations by developing and enforcing security policies, identifying risks, and managing compliance across all sites. Your role will focus on:

Ensuring compliance with ISO27001 security standards through policies, procedures, and audits.
Providing security training and guidance across all sites.
Managing investigations and compiling evidence for legal proceedings.
Working with law enforcement, insurers, and other agencies to enhance security measures.
Identifying crime trends, conducting risk assessments, and implementing loss prevention strategies.
Supporting business continuity planning and contributing to Whistl’s overall security strategy.
Ensuring security compliance in property acquisitions and new operational changes.
About the RoleAre you a skilled Security Manager with a strong background in risk management and investigations?

At Whistl, we are looking for a proactive leader to identify and manage security risks across our operations, ensuring the safety of our personnel, assets, and information.

This Security Manager role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement robust security policies, minimise loss and shrinkage, and enhance our overall security framework.

If you have previous experience in security, risk, or investigations (ideally 5+ years) and are ready to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you!

Essential Skills Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Ability to influence and interact at all levelsTechnical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of:

PACE, Proceeds of Crime Act, RIPA
Audio Recorded & Cognitive Interviewing
GDPR & Data Protection
ISO27001:2022 Information Security
Auditor experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteQualifications

Essential:

Recognised Risk and/or Security Management qualification or relevant experience
Experience in criminal investigations & evidence gathering
Membership of a recognised security body (e.g. Security Institute)

Additional Requirements:

Clean UK driving licence and willing to travel throughout the UK
Ability to work occasional shifts/unsocial hours.
Enhanced DBS check and full vetting required
