Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and monitor network and devices, ensuring robust security patching and vulnerability management.
  2. Develop and implement information security policies, including business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  3. Provide hands-on expertise in cloud-based technologies (Azure, AWS) with a focus on security, performance, and scalability.
  4. Design and conduct security testing and training for employees.
  5. Perform risk assessments and analyse current security solutions, recommending enhancements.
  6. Support the adoption of new security technologies and best practices.
  7. Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Technology, Cyber Security, IT, or a related field.
  2. Over 4 years of experience in a cybersecurity engineering role.
  3. Technical certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH; AWS/Azure certifications highly desirable.
  4. In-depth knowledge of network systems, security products, and solutions (e.g., SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, M365).
  5. Proficiency in risk assessment tools and techniques.
  6. Experience with firewalls, VPN solutions, and IDS.
  7. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Mitre ATT&CK).
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  9. Effective communication and documentation skills.
  10. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and as part of a team.
