Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.

What you'll do

You will be working in a small team of like-minded and highly skilled Network Engineers in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, with the primary focus for this role being delivery of reliable LAN and WLAN solutions using a wide range of products from data vendors and Vodafone for one of Vodafone's largest Enterprise and Global customers.

You will:

  • Plan, Design and Implement network solutions to meet customer business requirements.
  • Be a Technical Lead for delivery of customer network projects.
  • Ensure Change Control and other mandatory processes are adhered to.
  • Ensure all work is risk-assessed with the productionand maintenance of H&S Compliant documentation (RAMs and Point of Works Risk Assessment).
  • Where required undertake hands-on build activity to stage, commission and install new network equipment.
  • Produce customer site and solution network documentation.
  • Monitor progress of activities within each project; providing regular updates to management and key stakeholders.
  • Management and coordination of 3rd party suppliers.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to pre-sales activity.
  • Ensure technical knowledge is kept up to date and make recommendations to changes in customer technical standards.
  • Work co-operatively with team members and colleagues, contributing positively and constructively to the achievement of team and organisational objectives.


Who you are

You will:

  • Have experience of working with (configuring and implementing) predominantly Cisco and Meraki LAN and WLAN solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Have extensive field experience including cabling and installation of networking equipment.
  • Be a self-motivated individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships as well as functioning in a team environment
  • Full SC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain
  • Project Management experienceis advantageous.
  • Experience of working in a construction environment (including CCNSG Certification) is desired but not mandatory.

  • Cisco 6248UP Fabric Interconnect
  • Security
  • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Cisco Meraki MX
  • SDWAN and software defined networks.
  • Have practical and theoretical experience of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.
