The team is looking for a highly motivated,technically inclined individual to work as a Security Engineer. Asuccessful candidate will need to embody our 16 leadershipprinciples; especially in Learn and Be Curious, Earns Trust, andDives Deep. You will work from the LHR14, London SOC location. Youneed to be comfortable working in a dynamic technical, and attimes, ambiguous environment. Key job responsibilities 1. Detect,monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources to detectand respond to potential threats in real-time. 2. Develop,implement, and fine-tune detection rules and correlation logic toimprove threat detection capabilities. 3. Conduct in-depthinvestigations of security incidents, perform forensic analysis,and coordinate incident response activities. 4. Maintain andoptimize security information and event management systems andother security tools used in the SOC. 5. Collaborate with otherteams to enhance threat intelligence, improve incident responseprocedures, and provide regular reports on security posture. This position supportsother AWS Security Engineers with security engineering, securityoperations and incident response activities. You will beresponsible for coordinating and facilitating security responseactivities, fine-tuning detection rules. You'll investigatepotential incidents, collaborate with threat intelligence teams,and develop new detection algorithms. About the team AWS-SOC Teammanages security issues across the globe.
