Job Title: Security Engineer
Location:
Leicester
Salary:£30,000 – £40,000 DOE + OTE
Working Hours:Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experiencedSecurity Engineerwith a strong background inintruder alarm and CCTV systems. This role covers bothinstallation and servicingwork across a range of domestic and commercial properties, including offices, factories, and homes.

The successful candidate will work with a variety of systems includingPyronix, Scantronic, Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, and Paxton, providing top-quality service and technical support to clients throughout the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain intruder alarms and CCTV systems across various property types
  • Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work independently or collaboratively with other engineers
  • Participate in a 1-in-3 week call-out rota
  • Travel throughout the Midlands region

Experience:

  • Proven experience with security system installation and servicing
  • Solid understanding of intruder alarms and CCTV technologies
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and problem-solving approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and participate in out-of-hours support when required
