Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Security Consultant specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) within Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview environments. This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing data protection policies and controls to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance across our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement DLP and DLM strategies for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview, including data classification, retention, and risk mitigation policies.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of current data security controls, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements.

Collaborate with internal teams to customize DLP rules, data sensitivity labels, and access policies aligned with regulatory requirements.

Provide technical guidance and training on M365 DLP and DLM best practices for secure data handling and lifecycle management.

Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, working to continuously improve data protection mechanisms.

Qualifications:
Proven experience with Microsoft 365 DLP and Microsoft Purview configuration and management.

Strong understanding of data security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Expertise in implementing and managing DLM policies and data retention schedules.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
