Reporting into the Head of Security, this role will be responsible for the delivery of security solutions and assist other technical colleagues within the organisation. This role will provide a high level of technical ability to ensure security solutions are implemented to the correct standards and specification and will work alongside Security Architects to assist with project implementation, as well as delivering and managing its own project work.

This role will work alongside the account management team and Solutions Consultants to ensure the appropriate solutions are aligned to the client requirements and business objectives

Objectives

· Provide both onsite and remote consultancy for clients and prospects for all regions within the organisation

· Partner with both the Account Management and Solutions Consultant teams to ensure security solutions are appropriately specified, planned and delivered for Sharp UK’s clients

· Support the Security Architects and Project Management Office to ensure the successful delivery of security projects by providing both onsite and remote implementation support

· Create security proposals and plans in line with client requirements

· Assist other technical team members by providing help and support to ensure security solutions are delivered correctly, and acting as an escalation point for the wider technical team

· Provide technical pre-sales security support for the new business team with prospect client requirements

· Ensure adherence to Sharp UK guidelines for all documents, forms and processes

Personal Specification

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)

· Demonstrable technical background and at least 2 years’ experience of delivering security solutions with a specific focus on Microsoft 365, Azure security, alongside industry best practice and toolsets

· Knowledge and understanding of industry security frameworks and experience of delivering consultancy for these

· Understanding and experience of key environments such as Microsoft 365 (Intune, Purview, Exchange, Entra) and Azure

· Ability to create detailed proposals and plans for client requirements

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to clients

· Ability to build and maintain professional face to face relationships with clients, establish credibility quickly and influence as required

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at once, yet maintain quality and meet tight deadlines
