Our client, a leading organisation in the technology sector, is looking for a Security Consultant to join their team in Uxbridge on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cyber security, ready to make a difference in safeguarding complex systems.


Key Responsibilities:

Implementing general cyber security measures to protect data and networks


Triaging a variety of security problems to determine the best course of action for resolution
Conducting thorough assessments and providing detailed reports on system vulnerabilities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security of all IT infrastructure
Advising on best practices and strategies for continuous security improvements
Participating in a one-stage interview process to demonstrate expertise and fit for role
Attending client site in Uxbridge four days a week

Job Requirements:

Experience in cyber security consultancy


Strong problem-solving skills pertinent to security issues
Proficiency in identifying and mitigating security threats
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
Broad understanding of various security frameworks and compliance requirements
Consultant-level expertise in the field of security

Additional Information:

Role based in Uxbridge


Contract position for an initial 2 months, with likely extension till December
Four days a week commitment
