Security Architect

Security Architect required by Harrington Starr’s global end user to play a keyt role in the design and management of CNAPP (cloud-native application protection platform) and CASB (cloud access security broker) technologies.


On offer is the chance to join a specialist Security Architecture team in an SME role, which has a global reach.


The role can be considered a remote/ home based basis with occasional trips to the Head office in Belfast.


On a day to day basis the role will include


  • Designing and implementing cloud-native security architectures and solutions
  • Design and implementing CASB strategies
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices for cloud environments
  • Conducting security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Creating and maintaining solution documentation for cloud network security
  • Working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Contributing to the wider security architecture and engineering teams


Key skills needed are:


  • Experience as a Security Architect with a strong technical understanding of cyber security
  • Experience of Microsoft cloud security tools including Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • CASB and CNAPP solutions enterprise deployment experience
  • Experience of network security including security groups, network ACLs and load balancers in cloud environments
  • Strong knowledge of IAM solutions. Microsoft Entra ID preferred
