Job Title:Cybersecurity Sales Professional
Department:Sales
Reports To:Sales Manager / Director of Sales

Position Overview:
The Cybersecurity Sales Professional is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling cybersecurity solutions and services to businesses and organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity trends, products, and strategies, as well as excellent sales and communication skills. The individual will build relationships with prospective clients, identify their security needs, and provide tailored solutions to protect their digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients through research, networking, and outbound outreach.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand client pain points and tailor solutions to meet their specific cybersecurity needs.
  • Provide excellent post-sale support and maintain client satisfaction.

Product Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Develop expertise in the company’s cybersecurity products and services.
  • Educate clients on the importance of cybersecurity and the value of the solutions offered.

Proposal Development and Negotiation:

  • Create and present detailed proposals, contracts, and pricing plans.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company policies and goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions are feasible and effective.

Market Research and Intelligence:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market demands.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Provide regular updates to management on progress and pipeline health.
Qualifications and Skills:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on technology or cybersecurity solutions.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks (e.g., firewalls, endpoint security, threat detection, compliance standards).
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Sales Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients quickly.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and handling objections effectively.

Other Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Work Environment:
This position requires travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
