Job Title:Sales Development Representative (SDR) – UK (Cybersecurity Startup)

Job Description:

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our clients rapidly expanding sales team. As an SDR at our clients US-based cybersecurity startup, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads across the UK market. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping a fast-growing cybersecurity company expand its footprint in the UK while working with a dynamic, remote team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, and a proven ability to engage prospects effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation:Proactively identify and reach out to potential leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media (e.g., LinkedIn) to generate interest in our clients cybersecurity solutions.
  • Lead Qualification:Qualify inbound leads and work with Account Executives to convert them into opportunities by understanding customer pain points and aligning solutions with their needs.
  • Market Research:Conduct research to identify key decision-makers, industry trends, and target companies in the UK cybersecurity market.
  • CRM Management:Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track interactions, update lead status, and ensure accurate reporting on sales activities.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the UK sales team to schedule product demos, follow-up calls, and meetings with qualified prospects.
  • Sales Support:Assist the sales team by providing insights into lead behavior and providing background information on prospect needs and interests.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ year of experience in sales development, lead generation, or business development (preferably in the B2B tech or cybersecurity space).
  • Must have worked with security STARTUPS or worked in CYBER
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote-first startup environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex cybersecurity solutions in a simple, compelling way.
  • Knowledge of the UK business landscape, particularly within the IT or cybersecurity sectors, is a plus.


Preferred:

  • Experience in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry.
  • Previous experience working with UK-based clients or in a remote sales team
