A specialist IT Risk & Security Consultancy has a new opportunity for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join the London office, working remotely and on-site with clients.


Role Overview

As a Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Consultant or Senior at their London office, you will provide expert advisory services to a diverse client portfolio, helping them navigate the complexities of third-party risk. You will leverage your experience to design and implement robust TPRM frameworks, conduct thorough assessments, and deliver strategic recommendations that enhance our clients' risk management capabilities.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead or support the execution of TPRM consulting engagements from initial scoping through to implementation
  • Develop and maintain/support strong client relationships with stakeholders up to the C-suite level
  • Create or contribute to comprehensive TPRM frameworks and solutions tailored to client-specific requirements
  • Conduct or help with thorough current state assessments, producing detailed gap analyses and actionable recommendations
  • Design or support end-to-end TPRM operating models and provide expert guidance on implementation approaches
  • Perform in-depth system and process assessments with expert analysis
  • Spearhead or assist business process design activities, implementation planning, and analysis
  • Manage or support complex TPRM remediation programmes and projects
  • Contribute to business development or research for pipeline growth


Team Contribution

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
  • Develop IP and facilitate knowledge sharing across the wider team
  • Lead small teams of consultants on client engagements
  • Drive internal improvement initiatives
  • Participate in key internal processes, including recruitment and talent development


Required Experience & Skills

Experience

  • Proven track record supporting TPRM functions in dynamic, fast-paced environments (industry or consulting)
  • Comprehensive understanding of outsourcing and TPRM regulations (including PRA, EBA, and FCA requirements)
  • End-to-end experience across various TPRM consulting engagements
  • In-depth knowledge of the TPRM lifecycle and assessment methodologies


Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in TPRM framework design, implementation, and solution development
  • Ability to address risk using standardised and consistent methodologies
  • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills

  • Adaptable working style – comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead projects with evolving scope and stakeholder landscapes
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills up to executive level
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions

  • Experience with industry-standard TPRM tools, techniques, and systems
  • While a consultancy background is not required, you must thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working with diverse clients
  • Financial services sector knowledge and experience
