YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • The firm is seeking a compliance professional to support its risk and regulatory functions. The role involves assisting senior compliance leadership with various projects and monitoring changes in AML and GDPR regulations to identify necessary policy updates.
  • You will assist with internal audits, preparing reports for insurance renewals, including professional indemnity and cybersecurity policies, and ensuring the firm remains compliant with evolving legal and regulatory obligations.
  • You will help organise and oversee compliance training across the firm. The successful candidate will also manage client complaints, working closely with senior department heads to ensure effective resolutions.
  • Additional duties include undertaking tasks as directed by compliance leadership, overseeing the rollout of new procedures with a focus on data protection, and supporting the firm's accreditation and regulatory certification processes.

    Experience & Qualifications Required
  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent. A Legal qualification is essential.
  • Experience in legal compliance and/or litigation is essential.
  • Keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of their work.
  • Strong IT skills are essential, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong research capabilities are required to support compliance and legal matters. The role demands a high level of care and diligence in all tasks.
  • Candidates must have previous experience working in a professional services or legal environment.
