Salary:£35,000 – £40,000 per annum

Reports to:Head of Programmes

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a creative and dynamic Project Manager working hybrid in Swansea with an international training and professional development institution. They are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join the programmes team. You will play a pivotal role in providing support for the delivery of programmes and events, executing and maintaining project plans and documentation, resources and information systems. You will track, monitor and evaluate existing projects, evaluating their impact whilst also providing research and insight into potential opportunities.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Provide full lifecycle project support to all programmes with a creative approach. Develop, implement, and proactively manage, clear and effective project plans in a constantly changing and dynamic environment. Coordinate the successful setup and running of relevant programmes and pilots, including coordination and monitoring of necessary resources, licensing, courses, collateral, webcasts, partners, communications and reports, and internal/external partners and stakeholders. Identify project risks, report correctly on risk management activities, and document the lessons learned for analysis and actionable learning. Liaise with internal stakeholders and manage programme schedules based upon region. Produce reports that demonstrate impact and implementation of the programme/project by utilising effective monitoring, evaluation and impact practices.

Ideal candidates will have:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Project Manager role or operating as a lead project management professional. Proven track record of leading and managing multiple projects at the same time with short- and long-term deadlines. End-to-end project management from planning to close. Experience using a range of project management tools, methodologies, performance management software, templates and processes, and adapting these to ensure the framework is well-suited. Ability to maintain and build upon internal and external stakeholder relationships. PRINCE2, APM or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. Excellent IT skills and MS Office proficient
