Production Operative

Location – Broadstairs, Kent

Salary - £12.21

Temp to Perm

Our client is an established manufacturing company based in Broadstairs, and they are currently looking for Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis.

This company has experienced fantastic year-on-year growth and is also a highly progressive and supportive local employer.

The hours for the role are Monday to Thursday, 8 am-5.30 pm and finishing at noon on a Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Responsibilities of the Production Operative:

  • Assembling products

  • Working on a production line

  • Picking and packing products

  • Following all Health and Safety policies within the workplace and taking all precautions to prevent accidents

  • Ensuring work complies with all relevant work instructions

  • To adhere to the Quality Management System requirements

  • To adhere to company procedures at all times

  • Ensuring all manufactured product meets customer required specifications

  • To stop a process and inform the Production Manager if the Quality falls below defined boundaries in areas where statistical or any other monitoring techniques are used

  • To ensure non-compliant product is segregated and suitably identified and brought to the attention of the Production Manager

    Previous experience of assembly or soldering would be a distinct advantage
