Practice Nurse Opportunity – Join a Friendly, Patient-Cantered Team
We are working on an exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join a supportive, well-established practice in a beautiful, community-focused area in Guildford. This position offers a chance to become part of a forward-thinking clinical team that truly values patient care over bureaucracy.

  • Competitive salary of £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, plus:

    • Full or part-time hours available
    • Friday availability essential
    • Early starts at 7:30 am optional, with extended access on Monday evenings
      Key Responsibilities:
  • 15-minute face-to-face appointments
  • Treatment room duties, including Travel and Baby Immunizations, Cytology, and Ear Irrigation
  • Supporting Chronic Disease Management (CDM) is beneficial but not essential

  • A team player with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Someone who aligns with our ethos of avoiding a total triage model
  • A commitment to fostering strong patient relationships
    About the Practice:
  • A friendly surgery housed in a charming building, caring for 8,500 patients
  • GMS contract with mixed demographics in a fairly affluent area
  • Good CQC rating (2024) and consistently high QoF scores
  • A collaborative environment using Emis Web, where professional development is actively supported
  • Opportunities to develop toward ANP level and expand skills in CDM
    The Team:
  • Supported by 3 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses and 2 HCA/Phlebotomists plus on-site support from an MSK Consultant (weekly) and Addiction Service (twice weekly).
  • Experienced Admin team led by a Practice Manager, Supervisor, and Health Coordinators
