Maintenance Engineer - Nights
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £17.50 per hour, 25% shift allowance.
Hours: Sunday to Wednesday 10pm - 6am & Thursday 10pm - 5am

Our client, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions, dedicated to empowering customers and protecting the world. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of equipment, fixtures, and building systems.

Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing both routine and emergency repairs, conducting inspections, and coordinating maintenance activities to maximise equipment performance. This role involves hands-on repair work as well as collaboration with external contractors and other departments.

To be considered for the position:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
  • Experience with logic controllers and automation systems.
  • Full UK work rights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, performing repairs as needed.
  • Inspect equipment and systems regularly to identify and prevent potential problems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to schedule maintenance work.
