Network Security Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong knowledge of Cisco to work as part of a team who are responsible for deploying, administering, maintaining and supporting the companies network infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
Deploy, administer, and maintain Network & Security platforms and any other related software, such as routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, network access control, cryptography systems, monitoring, and cloud technologies/applications. Perform diagnostics, appraisal, and analysis on predominantly Cisco based Network & Security technologies, such as, firewalls, VPN’s, intrusion detection/intrusion prevention, network access control, and other network policies to ensure maximum system reliability & security. Give direction and recommendation on Network & Security Enhancements/Features. Provide BAU support for Network & Security related tickets/incidents. Contribute to IT policies and process development using industry best practices. Define and maintain security policies & procedures. Identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and propose/implement mitigating solutions.Essential skills & experience
Cisco network support experience, ideally certified In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP Suite. Experience with the configuration and operational maintenance of Cisco Software & Hardware. Hands-on experience in the administration and configuration of Firewalls. Knowledge of network segmentation and access control. Experience with enterprise wireless solutions.
