Location:Mobile, Northern Ireland North West Region (Derry / Ballymena)
Hours:Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am - 3:45 pm
Job Type:Permanent, Full-Time

Your Role as a Fire and Security Engineer

As a key member of the GRAHAM Fire & Security Mobile Engineering Team, you will:

  • Maintain and Repair:Conduct pre-planned maintenance and complete remedial repairs on a variety of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Install and Configure:Perform installation works across various fire and security systems, ensuring that our clients benefit from top-tier safety and security solutions.
  • Deliver Excellence:Provide exceptional services to our high-profile clients, ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards and adheres to relevant regulations.

About You

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone with strong technical skills and a commitment to excellence. While not every qualification is essential, the more boxes you tick, the better!

Essential Criteria:

  • Certification:City & Guilds (or NVQ Level 3 equivalent) in electrical/electronic equipment installation.
  • Experience:At least 3 years of experience in a multi-disciplined fire and security role.
  • Technical Knowledge:Proven expertise in the installation and maintenance of various fire and security systems.
  • Regulatory Know-How:Working knowledge of relevant fire and security standards (BS5839-1:2017, BS6266:2011, BS7273, BS4737, PD6662, and DD243).
  • Driving License:Full UK driving license.
  • On-Call Availability:Willingness to participate in the company’s on-call rota.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Fire Panel Knowledge:Familiarity with fire panels such as C-Tec, GENT, Cooper Menvier, Siemens, Edwards, Ziton, Cerberus, or Bell.
  • Security Systems Expertise:Knowledge of intruder alarms, access control systems, CCTV, and intercom equipment like Galaxy, Paxton, Honeywell, and Indigo Vision.
