Role Overview

We are looking for an exceptional person with strong sales skills to look after around 50 Mimecast customers in the 1000-3000 employee range, with particular emphasis on upselling our existing and new products into these accounts.  The Account Manager is the main point of contact at Mimecast for these accounts and will be their window into our organisation. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated, strong team player with a proven track record of success in generating upsell. A good understanding of Mimecast’s technology stack as well as the current cyber-security landscape. A strong work ethic is vital in this competitive marketplace

What You’ll Do

  • Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual upsell revenue
  • Responsible for mitigating Downsell and Churn in your book of business
  • Work with the Partner / Channel Development team to develop and execute against account plans
  • Responsible for selling new technology into existing customer base and driving incremental revenue opportunities
  • Execute against a set of end-to-end sales methodology and process.
  • Attend trainings and develop relevant knowledge and skills

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong IT or SaaS sales experience
  • Degree level education (preferred but not required)
  • Proven sales achievement against revenue quota
  • Understanding of Corporate IT teams and their buying processes
  • Ideally experience selling through Channel partners
  • Competency with customer relationship management platform Salesforce
  • Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Results-oriented with a positive outlook
  • Self-starter, dynamic, confident presenter
