  The Role - Mentor
  
  I am recruiting for a Mentor to work 1:1 with children who have ASD / SEMH and some of whom have been removed from a mainstream school setting and have challenging behaviour. As a Mentor you will manage challenging behaviour in line with the school policy. The ideal Mentor will have a resilient personality with a firm but nurturing approach to challenging behaviour. Someone with a background working with challenging children or youth will be considered.

  This secondary alternative provision provide education to children who have been removed from mainstream school setting ages 4 – 19 some of whom have ECHPs. They have a well structured team and a great SLT who ensure that staff have the correct training and resources providing a high standard of education and care to children, preparing them for life outside of school. they are located a short walk from the nearest station and have a carpark for all members of staff.
