Join Paragon Customer Communications in Peterborough as a SM74 Press Minder. As the Litho Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the SM74 and other machinery within the litho environment, consistently and efficiently producing quality products to fully satisfy all clients' requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Litho Machine Operator will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Run the SM74 to the standards set out in the KPI Information Sheet.

  • Produce work to match Hi-Res Proof or House standard weights as requested by customers.

  • Comply with Health & Safety practices at all times.

  • Maintain the press and keep records of maintenance.

  • Pass Sheet Sticker

  • Running Stickers every 5% of job also Time Stamp sheet (both sides if the sheet is backed up)

  • Label finished pallets with Pallet Tickets and marked up area for files

  • Maintain quality of job throughout run to stamped up pass sheet

  • To attend and comply with all training

  • Undertake to comply with the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and its associated policies

    ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

    To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Press Minder, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • Relevant degree or certification in printing technology or a related field.

  • Proven industry experience in operating litho printing machinery.

  • A working knowledge and practical experience with SM74 and other litho machinery.

    Location: Peterborough, PE2 6TH

    Full Time, 40 hours per week – 6 am start

    Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 12-hour shift and Wednesday 8-hour shift

    Week 2: Monday and Tuesday 12-hour shift
