MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Monitoring Officer for a leading company in the Lending - Consumer sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, contributing to crucial compliance and risk management activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK financial regulations and excellent analytical skills. Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Hybrid (2 / 3 days per week in Chester office)

The Compliance Monitoring Officer will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Compliance with conduct risk and compliance assurance activities. This position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Monitoring Officer:

Conduct compliance monitoring activities following established methodologies
Draft reports and propose proportionate recommendations to address identified risks
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage compliance risks and implement appropriate controls
Support the creation and delivery of Compliance MI packs
Required knowledge and experience for the Compliance Monitoring Officer role:

Minimum three years' experience in compliance monitoring or a similar role
Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations, particularly FCA, CONC, DISP, PRIN, GDPR, and CCA
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Proficiency in interpreting data and writing reports
