We are currently looking for a Lead Product Manager Cargospot Neo Handling to join our team. The Lead Product Manager will be reporting to the VP Cargo Management Portfolio.


As a key member of the Product Leadership team, you will be responsible to manage the CHAMP’s Cargospot Neo Handling products including Cargospot neo Handling portfolio, Cargospot Mobile warehouse handling, Customer portals and handling apps for landside management. Each of these products is at a different point in their product lifecycle from launch through to maturity.

Responsibilities

Lead Product Manager is accountable for the following tasks & responsibilities:


Product Success

  • Work with Global Sales to grow the top line and win major customers and projects by providing domain expertise, sales support materials and conducting onsite and remote presentations and creation of proposals
  • Be responsible for the success and growth of Cargospot neo Handling portfolio
  • Define the product development priorities and longer-term product strategy for the products under your direction, taking account of:
  • Industry requirements and deadlines
  • Market needs and requirements
  • Competitor products and services
  • Technical improvements and opportunities
  • Customer requests and priorities registered via the user modification process
  • Position and promote products under your direction
  • Provide functional direction and governance over CHAMP products in your portfolio
  • Liaise with project directors to ensure projects are aligning with product direction
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, product documentation and training material for your products
  • Understand and stay abreast of emerging initiatives in the industry to ensure our products stay at the forefront of the market for Handling products
  • Participate in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products
  • Work with development managers to ensure software developments are delivered to agreed plans (i.e. schedule, budget and quality targets)
  • Manage change to software development plans and requirements, assessing impact and prioritizing with stakeholders
  • Participate in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products
  • Understand and stay abreast of emerging technologies to ensure our products stay architecturally up-to-date
  • Work with QAs and Quality managers to ensure all projects and products are delivered and implemented as per expected quality.
  • Maximize the automation of quality assurance in CHAMP products under your direction.


People Management

  • Provide leadership and direction to your team, growing and nurturing a high-performing culture.
  • Continual development of your team
  • Manage and develop your direct reports
  • Supervise organizational development, recruiting and career development of your division in conjunction with the HR department
  • Plan and manage budgets for your division, ensuring appropriate resource availability for CHAMP to deliver its goals and growth targets


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A strong leadership presence with a positive and proactive leadership style
  • An ability to interact collaboratively with management, colleagues and staff to achieve the organizational targets
  • Client-orientation
  • Proven experience in successful management of complex, multi-faceted products
  • Strong background of working with product development to deliver your product roadmap
  • Experience in leading and motivating a multi-disciplinary, multi-located and multi-cultural team
  • Broad experience with different software development methodologies
  • Good understanding of a recognized structured project methodologies
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to travel Worldwide as needed


Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
  • 5+ years of product/portfolio management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in ground handling operations.
  • 5+ years of people management
  • Experience as a Product Manager in a similar industry or to have managed a Cargo Management system for a major airline or handler is preferred.



The selected candidate may be subject to the provision of an up-to-date (not older than 3 months) criminal record certificate.
