Job Title: Lead Fire & Security Engineer
Location: Edinburgh (Regional Coverage)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We're offering an exciting opportunity for a Lead Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing facilities management company in Glasgow covering contracts throughout the central belt.

This is a key position with real career progression — you’ll not only take charge of delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire and security systems, but also have the opportunity to grow and lead your own team as the division expands.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and deliver installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and new hires.

*

Ensure compliance with BS5839, BS7671, and other relevant safety and quality standards.

*

Manage and coordinate small works and projects from planning to completion.

*

Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

*

Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer, ideally in both installation and maintenance.

*

Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder systems, CCTV, and access control.

*

Excellent fault-finding, commissioning, and problem-solving skills.

*

Leadership potential or previous experience in a senior or lead role.

*

Full UK driving licence and relevant industry qualifications (FIA units, ECS, etc.)
