Senior IT Technician

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior IT Technician to join our IT team. This is a key role in supporting, maintaining, and developing our IT infrastructure while ensuring outstanding service delivery across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support across a multi-site organisation

Maintain and troubleshoot networks, servers, hardware, and software systems

Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS)

Lead IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and system rollouts

Ensure cybersecurity best practices and data protection compliance

Monitor system performance and maintain documentation

Provide guidance and mentoring to junior technicians

Person Specification

Extensive experience in a senior IT support role

Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

Proficient in networking, firewalls, virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud services

Industry certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are desirable

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skills
