The Role

As an IT Teacher in Harborne, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This 12-month maternity contract offers the opportunity to make a real impact, helping students develop their digital literacy, problem-solving abilities, and technological skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver interactive IT lessons that engage and challenge students.
Teach a range of topics, including programming, cybersecurity, and digital media.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the computing curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related subject.
Experience teaching IT at secondary level.
