IT Support Technician - 6-Month Contract | Onsite - Cullen, Moray 🚨

Work Type: 5 Days Onsite (with occasional flexibility)

Are you a hands-on IT Support professional looking for your next contract role in a scenic coastal location? We are currently seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Cullen, Moray for a 6-month contract. You'll be supporting users onsite across hardware, software, cloud, and networking - ensuring smooth IT operations and exceptional service.

đź”§ Key Responsibilities:

Deliver telephone, remote, and onsite IT support within agreed SLAs.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, cloud, and networking issues.

Perform root cause analysis via system and event logs.

Install and configure servers, network hardware, and software systems.

Liaise with third-party providers for escalated technical issues.

đź§  Essential Skills:

Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows Server & desktop environments.

Good grasp of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switches, firewalls.

Experience with Exchange, POP/IMAP, and Office 365 email platforms.

Hands-on with printers, antivirus setup, and basic cybersecurity awareness.

Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

UK Driving Licence is essential (site visits required).

🌟 Desirable (but not essential):

Familiarity with VOIP systems, Azure, virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V).
