Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for providing top-notch IT support? ProCook, the UK's leading kitchenware brand, is looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this hands-on role, you’ll not only work at our head office, but you’ll also be travelling to our stores nationwide to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line IT support to head office, warehouse, and store users.
  • Regularly travel to various store locations across the country to install, configure, and maintain IT equipment.
  • Prioritise and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Carry out general IT administration, including network configuration, system maintenance, and telephony.
  • Collaborate with third parties when necessary to resolve technical issues.
  • Contribute to project work that ensures our IT systems remain up-to-date and efficient.
  • Be part of a 4-week on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support one week in four, including weekend.
  • Varied daily duties—no two days will be the same!

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • A natural problem solver with a keen attention to detail and a passion for learning.
  • Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience (1st line).
  • Experience in cybersecurity practices and knowledge of security protocols.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate with 3rd party companies for IT support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10+, Windows Server Administration, Apple Mac OS, and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, basic networking, printer management, and mobile device management.
  • Ability to work with bespoke software and adapt to new platforms.
  • A full valid driving license and willingness to frequently travel across the UK using your own vehicle (with business insurance cover).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a “can-do” attitude.


Working Hours:37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. You will need to be on-call one week every four weeks, including that weekend, with occasional early starts or late finishes for critical tasks.
