BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for anIT Security Manager. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.

The IT Security Manager is responsible for demonstrating an alignment between IT Security and the needs of the business. The role is responsible driving and delivering the IT Security demands across the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Netherlands markets.

What awaits you?

Ensure active follow-up and management of security tasks with application owners to maintain compliance and security standards. Implement security policies across multiple local applications, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices. Actively manage and follow up on security tasks with application owners to ensure compliance and security standards are met. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and threats. Perform security audits to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and identify areas for improvement. Update and maintain security and compliance documentation to reflect current policies, procedures, and audit findings. Ensure a four-eyes principle and checks-and-balances approach to security and compliance tasks.

What should you bring along?

University degree, or relevant education/experience (i.e. studies in IT, computing, software engineering, Information Security or comparable qualification.) Excellent understanding of IT Security and IT development lifecycle Proficiency in security management tools and techniques, including knowledge of relevant software and technologies. Ability to conduct risk assessments and analyze security audit results to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues. Strong ability to communicate effectively with application owners and other stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and adherence to security policies. Skills in managing projects related to security policy implementation, risk assessments, and security audits. Expertise in maintaining and updating security and compliance documentation.
