For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced IT Security Architect for a long contract based in Manchester, UK

Job Description:
This role supports a critical digital transformation programme, involving the integration of new SaaS applications and an Enterprise Integration Platform. The IT Security Architect will work closely with security specialists, solution architects, and business stakeholders to design, advise, and oversee secure systems integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure, end-to-end integrated systems.
Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Perform system security and risk assessments.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure IT architectures.
Monitor vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and coordinate resolutions.
Provide integration guidelines and ensure best practice implementation.
Engage with stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners to advise and influence.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant certifications desirable (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH); integration certifications (e.g., Mulesoft) are advantageous.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Proven experience in secure architecture and enterprise integration.
Detail-oriented, highly accurate, and capable of delivering under pressure.
Motivated and proactive in meeting deadlines and driving results.
Additional Expectations:
Adherence to company policies including data protection, equal opportunities, IT usage, and health and safety.
Willingness to undertake other duties as required in line with business needs.
