Location: Randox Science Park, 30 Randalstown Road, Antrim, BT41 4FL. (Onsite)

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent, Onsite working.

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.



What does this role involve?



This role is responsible for network security analysis, monitoring and incident response, as well as maintenance and configuration of network security tools. Security Analysts will work with the latest technologies to detect, analyse, and limit intrusions and security events.

Performing network security monitoring and incident response using industry leading software and techniques to identify indicators of compromise (IoCs) and anomalous activity. Play the lead role of Identity and Access Management. Support the delivery of systems to protect the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of Randox networks. Perform vulnerability scans and advise relevant teams for mitigation steps. Monitor security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents. Use security information and event management (SIEM) tools to analyze log data for signs of suspicious activity. Keep up to date with the latest security and privacy legislation and security enhancing technologies and brief colleagues as needed to enable measures to be implemented where and when necessary/desirable. Conduct information security awareness program. Review compliance with the information security policy and associated procedures. Keep up to date on new and emerging cyber security threats.

Essential criteria:Be qualified to degree level or have a minimum of 3 years working in a similar role. Previous experience with security detection technologies such as SIEMs, vulnerability management or endpoint management. Broad understanding & familiarity with networking concepts & protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP etc). Experience of working in cross-functional teams. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrable Experience in implementing security in cloud platforms (M365, Defender/Endpoint/Identity, Conditional Access, etc). An understanding of approaches of: ISMS, risk analysis, the CIA triad, attack vectors including social engineering. Strong understanding of Cyber Security controls and Security concepts. Cyber / Cloud Security certification (e.g. AZ-500, SC-200, Security+, CySA+, etc). Right to work in the UK.Desirable:Previous experience in a similar role. Relevant industry certifications (Security+, CySA+, CEH, GIAC, etc) Experience with cloud solutions such as Azure or other LaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments. Technical understanding of IT infrastructure such as networks and active directory. Experience in scripting, automation and software development.
